About me: I'm an easy going person, caring, loving, generous, honest, with a gsoh. I'm not content to sit around and do nothing unless it's cuddling up in front of the TV to watch a good film. I enjoy gardening, DIY, reading, listening to music (various), walks in the countryside or by the sea, travelling whether it's day trips, weekends away, or holidays abroad. I love dancing but not DISCO. I dislike cruelty, sarcasm, lies, infidelity, BO and body piercings. I would like to meet someone who is honest, caring, doesn't tell lies to pacify me, I prefer honesty every time, someone who cares about his appearance and personal hygiene, who is not afraid to show his feelings and can make his lady feel special. A gsoh is a must as I like to laugh (they say laughing keeps you young - lol), someone with varied interests and like me is not content to sit around and do nothing. Of course, I don't mean we have to be out and about all the time, I'm happy just pottering around the house and garden but I really enjoy going out for the day with a picnic lunch. I worked in a College of FE as Principal's Secretary for 22 years and before that as Typing Pool Supervisor in a College of HE. After retiring at age 59 (enhanced pension offer) I worked for a firm of consultants for 3 years as Secretary. I have one daughter, 4 grandsons aged 16-26. My husband died of cancer in March 1981 and my son died aged 38, in a tragic drowning accident off the coast of Dorset in 1997. I live near my daughter now, but used to live in Newport, Gwent where I was born. I have an Autotrail Cheyenne Motorhome behind which I tow a SMART car, also a Toyota Celica. I enjoy touring in the UK or on the Continent, also faraway places staying in a hotel. I have travelled extensively over the years but there are still many places to explore - maybe we could explore together!
